Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening, sometimes known as bleaching, can be very effective when dealing with discolored teeth. Our treatments are going to be stronger than those that you might buy over the counter in your local pharmacy and we offer a number of options.
An in-office gel and light Zoom whitening procedure can be performed in a couple of hours and the results are almost always immediately apparent. The Zoom Whitening System eliminates stains caused by common foods and beverages, tobacco use, natural aging and a number of other causes. It is a safe and effective procedure that employs the use of substances to reduce tooth sensitivity and protect the enamel. The intensity settings of the light treatment can also be adjusted to your comfort level during the procedure.
If you prefer to whiten your teeth at home, a professional take home kit can do the job in just a couple of weeks. Both systems, light and gel, and take home will yield results of up to ten shades difference from the previous shade. For the best results we recommend a combination of in office and take home procedures.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are dental devices that are customized to your particular smile. These are thing shells of porcelain that are bonded in place on the front teeth for amazing results. The materials are stain resistant and are colored such that they can be matched to the color and shade of your existing teeth. Veneers are a good option when attempting to repair items such as:
- Chips
- Cracks
- Gaps
- Misalignment
- Misshapenness
- Stains
During an initial consultation we will discuss your desired results and then create a design and plan for your porcelain veneers. Preparations for the permanent veneers are made, impressions are taken, and temporary veneers put into place. Our lab will then fabricate your one-of-a-kind veneers for permanent installation. Once ready, you'll return for a procedure where the temporary veneers are removed and the permanent veneers are permanently bonded into place. The results of this procedure often quite remarkable and can be life changing.
Ceramic Bonding
Gaps, chips, and stains on your front teeth can detract from an otherwise amazing smile. If you're reluctant to try out a porcelain veneer then cosmetic bonding might be for you. Although bonding doesn't last as long as porcelain veneers, it is generally faster, less intrusive, and less expensive.
The same composite resin material that is used for fillings is use during the cosmetic bonding procedure. Your teeth are prepared, the resin is colored such that it matches the existing tooth and then the material is applied. A light is then used to harden the resin and it is shaped and polished into a natural appearance.
Cosmetic Orthodontics
Typically braces are associated with middle or high-school aged children. More than ever, adults are turning to improve their oral health and the overall cosmetic appearance of their smile. Today's bracket braces can be constructed from clear or tooth colored materials as not to be as noticeable and many types of tooth movements can be facilitated using removable devices.
