Hi, I’m Dr. Hicks! I’m a proud Austin native, born and raised in Rollingwood, and a St. Andrew’s alum (go Highlanders!). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where I also met my wonderful husband, Michael. I somehow convinced him to swap the California sunshine for the Texas heat, and we moved to Houston, where I received my dental degree at UT Health School of Dentistry. I couldn’t stay away from Austin for long, and am so happy to be back in my favorite city!

When I’m not talking about teeth, you’ll find me outdoors soaking up sunshine with Michael and our sweet Australian Shepherd, Kava. We love hiking, camping, and spending time by the lake. I’m also passionate about running marathons, traveling, puzzling, and playing games—especially Scrabble! Most of all, I deeply cherish the time I get to spend with my friends and family.

I believe in being a lifelong learner and staying committed to continuing education so I can provide the most advanced and up-to-date dental care. What I love most about being a dentist is connecting with amazing people and helping them achieve their healthiest, happiest smiles. My goal is always to make sure my patients feel heard, valued, and comfortable, creating a relaxed, stress-free environment for every visit. I’m so excited to be part of this incredible community and can’t wait to meet new faces!
